What changed:

ci.yaml: both setup-node steps (Go Tests, Build) "20" -> "24".
release.yaml: setup-node "20" -> "24".
Dockerfile: the UI build stage node:20-alpine -> node:24-alpine, so the image builds the UI on the same Node as CI.

Testing: CI on this PR builds the UI on Node 24. The Dockerfile stage only runs at release time, so the first tag after this is where that gets exercised; the UI build is the same npm ci + build CI runs here.

Risk: low. Rollback: revert the commit.

Node 20 went end-of-life in April 2026. 24 is the current Active LTS (supported to April 2028); 26 doesn't turn LTS until Oct 28, so 24 is the safe pick for now and is what every repo in this round moves to. Node 20 went end-of-life in April. Move the setup-node pins in the CI
and release workflows to 24, the current Active LTS.

GO once a local docker build . passes. CI is green on 28bc5c7 and covers the workflow Node bump, but nothing in CI builds the Dockerfile, and the jumpbox has no docker.

Default: hold until someone with a docker host runs the build.

Jerry's throwaway docker build on dockge.lab.rrd passed for 28bc5c7.

docker build --no-cache --pull with Docker 29.8.2 exited 0 in about 14s.
Bases: node:24-alpine, golang:1.27-alpine, alpine:3.20 runtime.
Nothing was pushed or deployed.

CI was already green on that head. Linus has merged it.
