What

Leftover harden for #7 after #8 was merged early into master (issue already closed).

scripts/update.sh: jq optional; python3 parses the Cursor feed when jq is missing; fail closed on missing curl/python3/sha256sum, empty feed, or parse errors.
.gitea/workflows/update.yml: clearer push-failure message pointing at the manual path.
README: note that jq is optional on the manual force path.

Bump to 0.36.0 and the Updating docs already landed via #8 on develop; this PR is the remaining stay-current script gap.

Why

Jumpbox and other hosts may lack jq. Requiring it made the documented manual ./scripts/update.sh path fail before a bump. Prefer one updater that works with python3.

Test

With jq hidden on PATH: script prints note: jq not found; parsing update feed with python3 and reports Up to date at 0.36.0.
Do not merge until reviewed (follow-up to #8).

scripts: Parse update feed with python3 if jq is missing a8b5346de7

Jumpboxes may lack jq; requiring it made the documented manual path
fail closed for the wrong reason. Keep python3 as the rewrite tool
and the feed parser fallback, and fail loudly when neither parser
nor curl/sha256sum is present. Reject tiny/non-deb downloads so a
failed fetch cannot look like a successful bump.
