Node 20 went end-of-life in April 2026. 24 is the current Active LTS (supported to April 2028); 26 doesn't turn LTS until Oct 28, so 24 is the safe pick for now and is what every repo in this round moves to.

What changed:

  • ci.yaml: both setup-node steps (Go Tests, Build) "20" -> "24".
  • release.yaml: setup-node "20" -> "24".

The Dockerfile has no Node stage, so nothing else pins 20.

Testing: CI on this PR builds the web UI on Node 24.
Risk: low. Rollback: revert the commit.

GO. CI is green on 76e5eab and the head is on the develop tip. The one red push run earlier was the TestCreateReadThenExpireScratch flake, filed on its own, not this change. Justin's GO for tonight's pass covers the toolchain bumps.
